Much smaller than the ones I received. I would say they sent you 1 year and owe you some money. Agree on the packing slip comment.

I sent Itasca an email and included the pics. We'll see what they say. A good business would recognize their mistake and make it right. I don't expect that to happen, but would love to be wrong.

I don't expect that to happen, but would love to be wrong. any response? None. I'll be a one time customer of Itasca. edited to add...I got an email from Itasca after I posted about not hearing from them. They say their picking crew made a mistake and they will credit me for the white spruce. That's what a good business should have done, and they did it. Nice to see in today's world.

Wodarz is a variety from NoDak. Allegedly super hardy and ripens in October. Supposed to hang pretty well after ripening too. I grafted a few this week.

It is on dolgo, per my memory. My understanding is that they're a good fresh eating apple. Similar to Yellow Delicious, but better.

From North Dakota. Considered to be one of the hardier apples, Wodarz has an uneven shape and yellow to green skin with a pink blush ripening in late September to early October. Flesh is white, firm and sweet. A vigorous apple used for eating and cooking with good storage-ability of up to three months. Somewhat tolerant to fireblight. A joint release of North Dakota State University and the R.L. Wodarz family.
