I did a search, didn't find much. Anybody got Rtic mugs/coolers/whatever? Seems like their products are comparable to Yeti for quite a bit less money. I'm looking for 1/2-1 gallon jugs that will keep my vodka/diet tonics cold for hours while sitting at the beach

Well, I hope they aren't crap.
I just ordered a 40 oz. mug, a 1/2 gallon jug, a gallon jug, and a backpack cooler.
I hope it's in the mid to upper 80s next month when we're in FL so I can get a good idea of how good (or not) they are.

If you look at their ratings/reviews …. Pretty much 5 star across the board .
Our high school baseball team raffles off an Rtic cooler loaded with beef as a fundraiser! Very popular!

The zipper on my bag cooler broke after very few outings and they would not stand behind it. Waste of money. I got rid of my hardside cooler too. Quality was fine but the thing weighed a ton even before beverages and ice was added. Yeti and every roto molded cooler are the same. Back injuries waiting to happen.

I've tried talking myself into one of the big Yeti or Rtic coolers. I can't come up with a reason to buy one. If I still did Ontario fly ins, maybe it would be worth the purchase.

I picked up a Rugged Road after selling my Rtic. Not as indestructible as Roto molded but light and keeps ice just as long.

I have a few of their mugs and a 1 gallon jug. They work fantastic. Use the 1 gallon on the boat and it keeps things cold all day. I had a soft side cooler from them as well. Zipper sucked and ended up breaking. Even before that it really didn’t work all that well.

Jugs and backpack cooler arrived today. The jugs seem like they're good quality. I can definitely see the zipper failing on the backpack cooler at some point. Time will tell.
Now I only have to wait to use them...

...they keep things warm too. Might help your beer from freezing in the Ranger.

The wife came home and asked why we needed almost 2 gallons of insulated jugs/mug. I just stared at her, and I could see Florida show up in her mind.

I'm impressed with the jugs and backpack cooler. I can fill the jugs with ice and water and take them to the beach for hours, take them back to the shack and the next morning they'll still have ice cubes floating around. The backpack cooler is less impressive for longevity, but it sure is easy to throw a bunch of beers in with ice packs. For 5-6 hours in the upper 70s and full sun, it'll certainly keep your beers cold. Makes it easy to carry your beach chairs and other crap when the cooler is a backpack.
