We have an abandoned shit hole as our nearest neighbor. There are barrels and water tanks among all sorts of garbage and a couple abandoned vehicle. It’s a shame what they let the place become. I think they just moved instead of cleaning it up. Every time we have a major spring runoff we get debris from their place at our place. My FIL would just clean it up and not say anything. There’s a new sheriff in town. I just piled the filthy stuff on their front porch this morning. I still can’t get to the large broken up plastic deer blind that is in our creek yet. When I can, I’ll drag it up to their place and leave it in the driveway. That reminds me of a quote from Blazing Saddles. I was tempted to quote the movie, then figured the NSA/CIA/FBI/Whoever would put me on a list if I did so. Still funny as hell though...

I can pick up a dozen bags of trash anytime I care to do the work. We are between 2 little towns and apparently the perfect distance to finish some McDonald’s during the drive and toss it out the window. Or a beer or anything else you can name.
Country folks can be trashier than city folks.

We used to pick up the trash along our .75ish mile ditches each spring. After coming across numerous meth (crack?) pipes, needles, and other paraphernalia, we quit. At least one local dairy outfit was in the habit of dumping dead calfs in our ditch until we moved here and started discussing that activity locally. They must have found more discreet places now... Kooch could make a visit over there and straighten things out. Kidding I was disgusted with what I saw. Our society is slobs. To solve it I think the school kids should spend at least a day a year picking up the garbage. They’d be less apt to toss shit in the future years. Vermont tried it in the 1960s but, they stopped because of fears of lawsuits and safety. Instead now our schools teach licking each other and that if you have a penis you could be a girl.

Country folks can be trashier than city folks. The amount of garbage/crap sitting in many (most) rural central MN yards is pretty gross. When I first bought/moved here I called the area "little Appalachia". I've gotten used to it now I guess. Along with the general lack of teeth among those born and raised here...

All the stuff they shouldn't have, beer, booze, fast food, smokes get tossed out of the buggy before they get home. I once come over a hill and saw a shit load of stuff thrown out. I went around the block and picked it up. Caught up to the guy who tossed it & pulled into the driveway. He asked if I needed something I told him no but said you dropped something and proceed to empty the bag on his lawn. His wife came out and asked what was going on and he said this guys is just nuts. I said no I just returning the stuff your husband thew out in the ditch. He said I was being untruthful, I said I have dash cam video if you'd like to see it.

The parking area on the neighboring wildlife management area has had truck loads of junk at times. The state put a game camera up and got some photos. That seeemed to end it.
I have had 4-6 tires dumped on my place but near the township road ( they don’t own the right of way). I have hauled them to the landfill and paid the fee but the last time I just called the township and they took care of it.

I have an old tractor tire and rim that I have been trying to get the tire off of. Anyone have hints?
I suspect the tire has been on there for at least 50 years or more. I did cut the bead on one side but can’t seem to free the tire from the rim.
