I've never heard of a triumph apple. Is it an early or late dropping apple?

I've never heard of a triumph apple. Is it an early or late dropping apple? No idea . My brief research says it’s a Honeycrisp/Liberty cross. Supposed to be disease resistant?

Kurt They are sold out of Triumph. Some guy came in and got the last 18. They are trying to get more but not optimistic.
He said only 2 suppliers of Triumph in the US that he can get them from.

Triumph gets good reviews from a guy with an orchard somewhere down towards the metro. Ripens a bit later than Honeycrisp and is much more tart allegedly. U of MN controls who can grow the variety for re-sale. I don't know if it's a variety that can be legally propagated by the general public via scion exchange or not.

That sounds like an interesting variety. I might have to keep an eye out for that variety at local garden centers when I purchase my garden plants.
