I like adding some dwarf essex rape along with some groundhog radishes in my brassica mixes.

I’m looking at 5 acres of rye, turnips and something else into standing beans around Sept 1….(Northern Missouri) Any suggestions?? Farmer approves! Winter peas, radish, oats, winter wheat, rape.

due to a drought the Deer wiped out our soybeans one year in Missouri and we broadcast 12lbs per acre of Turnips and raddish on top of the stubble that was left around August 1st. Got 4 inches of rain shortly after. Had deer in this plot solid for the next 6 months of hunting.

Do you have any issues with residuals when you use the pre-emergence herbicides on the soybeans? I bought some of that outlook pre-emergent herbicides you recommended and I was curious if that residual would last long enough to prevent a plan B for a failed soybean plot. Although I'd likely roll the dice regardless since brassica seed is cheap.

Since the beans never got over 4” tall, I probably sprayed the field with Liberty herbicide to kill Everything, let dry and broadcast the brassica seed.
