And he didnt get it on our farm. Shot it on a farm by dads house that we have permission on.
Sure wish we could get something worth targeting on the farm. Way more stands to choose for winds, and satisfaction to reap a reward for the work would be great.
End of the day, thank god for options.

That’s a great mount.
For a period, we sent teeth in for aging. It seems like the oldest was 7 or 8 years old and it was shot after it crossed the Mississippi from Camp Ripley and visited a food plot on private land. It was often seen in a no hunting area of camp. My family did not shoot this deer, but friend of a friend.

Brandon sent teeth in to get aged. Beautiful buck for sure. That is a big 4 year old. Surprised it was 4 years old.

I am surprised it was 4 years old as well. The place that aged it, does cross section cuts on the teeth, so it seems it should be accurate.. Or maybe they get teeth and toss them in the garbage and just send a certificate. Haa.
The scar over the bridge of the nose is a neat feature. And something we didnt notice was the scar on the middle of the neck. The taxidermist said he likely took an antler to the neck at some point. I was very visible inside when he caped it.
if you look at it, 1 inch below the white patch.
