Caught my first musky today on miltona. It was only 26" long but still a musky. Had a small northern follow, caught a bass and an around 30" northern throw my bucktail. Switching gears from walleye to Big fish now that's getting hot out. Have you been catching walleye on Miltona? No, but I've been catching them on other lakes around. The bite has been good lately.

Was it a good looking spotted fish? The River fish usually look different. Yesterday was walleye day. Fish for lunch today!

I was out on otter tail lake today chasing big northern. Of coarse I pick up a 21" walleye. Stupid thing wouldn't revive so I had to keep it. I gave it to an older couple out fishing since I already had 4 smaller ones in the freezer. They were happy to take it, and thanked me a couple times for giving it to them.

I usually hit the smaller lakes for walleyes.

It’s been a good spring for walleye fishing, but the July slump is starting. I finally had to buy night crawlers after using the 200 I picked this spring.
Most of our meals have been crappie, sunfish, walleye, or venison burger mixed with some beef burger.
