I'm not big on using bows for turkeys. Just seems too many people lose them even with good shots. Bastards are tough. Decap Agree 100 percent

This afternoon I put out the Funky Chicken with a hen decoy. He is the 80 pound weakling of decoys. And ir started to rain again

Had 3 hens roasted 60 yards from blind, they flew down next to decoys and walked off. No gobbler following them. Only heard one gobble so far this morning. Cold and windy out.

Got in blind about an HR ago, had to work nights second time I forgot a chair, sick of sitting in the ground, heard some faint gobbles so far

It has been dead except for those hens at fly down by me. Windy here 20 mph gust makes it hard to hear gobbles.

That's the beauty of bowhunting the entire season - you can pick and hunt the best days. Although I'm a bit envious of getting multiple tags in WI.
