Just bought 2.5 gal jug across the street for $42 including tax. It is what it is.

Where does it typically show on the label if surfactant is included or not? Like where do you start looking for it on the long label?

On the front of the jug it should say "41% glyphosate plus surfactant" or something along those lines

Most labels I've read say something along the lines of "no other surfactants are needed with this product" or something along those lines. The Tomahawk label says "Surfactants Nonionic surfactants (NIS) or wetting agents that have at least 70 percent active ingredient and are labeled for use with herbicides may be added to the spray solution, unless otherwise directed. Do not reduce rates of this herbicide when adding surfactants. Read and carefully observe cautionary statements and other information appearing on the additives label."
I bought a jug of Tomahawk from a co-op a couple years ago and couldn't find anything about surfactant, so I added NIS each time I sprayed. Cheap insurance. Since then I've seen Tomahawk Plus for sale...I can only assume the "Plus" means added surfactant

Gotcha. FWIW, I've had good luck with the Tomahawk stuff and it always killed everything well that I have put on it. Doesn't mean I shouldn't be looking into that in the future. Thanks

I was going to buy a 2.5 gallon jug of gly online from Rural King, but figured I'd check the price in town at Fleet Supply. Fleet has Big and Tuff (with surfactant) for $39 plus tax. Rural King's price was $32, but the shipping was another $14...so I grabbed a jug at Fleet. Last year Fleet had another brand of generic gly and it was close to $60/2.5 gallons. is that the place just past corborns?

When you guys are buying the Cheap Glyphosate, stay away from Crop Smart, or use a lot of it. Quality Glyphosate on the left, crop smart on the right! Works about as shitty as it looks!

I'm now partial to Roundup Powermax. If I've read the label correctly, it's stronger than generic 41% (I think it's like 48%), it's a different formula, and it also takes less per acre to hit full rates. And it killed everything stone dead last year on virgin ground. I think I paid $62 for a 2.5 gallon jug.

The price per gallon scares people, but it actually is within a few cents per acre of using a generic.
