Woodstock called to day and said my apple trees are here and ready to be picked up. I may just have to go get them tomorrow. Plan is to put them in the ground Thursday or Friday. Will post pics once I get them.

My buddy north of Madison is picking up some trees from WW next week (I think). I remember seeing their trees at their Mauston outlet a number of years ago...I should have picked some up back then.

Nice trees Tooln. Some of those have to be 7'+.
Are you going to head them back some on the tips and branches?

Tooln,
Nice job on the orchard area.
How often do you fire up that fancy smoker? Any photos of the finished results?

Tooln, Nice job on the orchard area. How often do you fire up that fancy smoker? Any photos of the finished results? Good eye catching the smoker/grill. Don't fire it up as often as I'd like. Threw a few burgers on it yesterday. Plan to go back today and finish up. Need to pick up more fence post and a few more bags of pea gravel. I'll snap some pics or do another video. Or maybe even take the drone and do a fly over.

I took a couple of videos today when I was done. One is up over 100' to give a idea of the tree layout. The other is a fly over of the trees. I've got to work on getting the setting right so they aren't so dark.

Nice Tooln,
The only suggestion I have is to paint those trunks with white latex paint from the ground up to 4' this year so they don't get borers or sun scald next winter.
