I have made a bundle on SIRI Sirius Satellite Radio... bought in at .25-.65 it's now $5. I still like it, 25 million users, might be more now. A target for buyout. Just wish I would have bought twice as much Didn't I hear they are looking to take over Pandora?? Yes, not sure what to think of that?

Amazon is right on the lip of the cup in the race to $1000 with google. I never thought it'd happen this soon.

What a mess. Amazon is gobbling up more of the economy. This was a blip for Amazon today, but its crushing my Whole Foods competitor. In two days, this thing blew out over 20% of its market cap. It's done it many times and gotten it back, but this one is funny. Just yesterday, Amazon announced a joint venture with sprouts to offer 2-hour delivery from Sprouts in Denver. Maybe they'll buy up sprouts too.

I don't think Amazon will dominate groceries like they are projecting. There is still room for others.

Lots of green to start off the new year! Lots of companies that were lagging behind are catching up quickly.

I've been carrying in my chest pocket my last conversion form, completing my rollover of my old 401k to a Roth IRA, for two full days. I haven't had a moment to breathe and fax that shit since this cold spell hit. It's a big deal for me because I've paid all the tax outta pocket. I can't tell ya how excited I am to hit the send button on the fax machine to finish this process. It took 28 months to do it, stretched it over 4 tax years.

Wife has a new 401K with matching funds to invest in. We always do the maximum. But I know little about mutual funds. What of these choices she is allowed would you choice? I have picked the 4 I like sorta, how about you given the current times? she will likely work 6-8 more years.

I would pick one of the Vanguard target date fund, which ever one is closer to your wifes retirement date, easiest way and automatically balances for you and has awesome low fees.

What do you guys think of Vangaurd funds? I am going to start switching some money from the few stocks we have to some funds to spread things out a little. I am not invested at all in health care. Mostly dividend paying Utility stocks and blue chip companies. What do you think of this health care fund? Antone have any from Vangaurd? this one maybe, VGHCX

Vanguard calls their funds, Life Strategy Funds. Fidelity has some based on estimated time of retirement . Like 2015, 2020, 2025.
