I just got this guy at morris mn sell me this truck for $45K plus tax! He liked cash! Bahahahahahaha! You decided to stay with Gas? I thought you would go diesel with all the towing you do.
Unless that's a diesel price then I need to talk to that guy.

I have been pulling with gas for 35 years. Gas or diesel I can make work. The $8,000- $10,000 extra for the diesel and all the extra expense makes it easy to drive a gas. This will be the biggest gas motor I have ever pulled with, and will be a lot cheaper to maintain. Gas millage of a few miles per gallon is all I will give up!

I just put 320,000 hard pulling miles on my 5.4 gas engine in my 04. Motor still runs great! I have no problem with a gas motor!

You could also tell him you are an ornery SOB with a video camera and you love YouTube. "The dealer won't even honor their advertised price." Sounds like a good video title.

I don't mind sending 6 loads of beans to town for a new truck, but the hell with with. I will keep load 7 in the bin then! Lol

If you're planning to keep that truck for the long haul, I'll share one thing I'm doing with my new work truck as soon as I get a free day. Mine only has 500 miles on it. I'm going to take it to a local guy and have him drain the coolant and put my own in. Manufacturers and repair shops are notorious for putting in the cheapest dog shit fluids they can get their hands on. I asked Ford what kind of coolant they were putting in their gas engines, and their head almost popped off. Nobody could answer. They finally showed me a jug, and the shit is so bad they don't even state the life of the coolant.
I know you're way out of my network, but other companies have good coolants too. Cenex has a brand called Farm Oyl Ultra Diesel Pre-mix, or Chevron has Delo XLC. Those coolants go 4-12 times longer than whore house factory-fill coolants. Pre-mixed will ensure you don't get a shit load of chloride and sulfate in your engine block from well or tap water. They also don't require any maintenance other than topping off when they get low. No filters needed, no re-additizing the shit at 75,000 or 300,000 miles, no need for refracting to check inhibitor levels. Just add more.
The Farm Oyl coolant is the only one that is remotely close to mine. When you see one that carries the Cat, Deere, and Cummins approvals, you know you've got a good coolant.
