20 hours {x2) and 800 miles for $2600?
Take a buck a mile off the top and the gross drops to $1800.
Figure $500 per blind material and it drops to $800.
Add 10 hours for labor and they clear about $16 an hour.
Until you add in MOs fee for moving in the mud and they are bankrupt

What a fucking nightmare today. Had to carry one blind in a mile and the other 2 miles with my track skid loader. Water everywhere down here. Could not even drive the truck off the road. cut ruts the whole way. Got both up and the braces on. Them kids drove down 7 hours, worked for 6 hours and just took off to drive the 7 hours back. Them kids are Animals! He charged this guy $2,600 for 2 blinds stood up. The guy got a hell of a deal! Man, how can they profit doing that much?

Then they drove 14 hrs round trip and spent 6 hrs erecting them,,,,,,, Brings it down to $6 an hour..... Yikes.

Only cost is about $150 per blind in paint, plexiglass and a few bolts. They have about $150 per blind in fuel to deliver each blind this far. Most are delivered in mn. It takes them a weekend and a week of nights after school to build two blinds and paint them. What 17 and 15 year old kids do you know that made a grand each this week? Most kids I see are beating off in front of a tv playing video games.

You've got to give the kids credit. Even if they're only breaken even or making a few bucks it is showing a lot of Entrepreneurship.

If they could deliver a bunch, I could put them up for a night by my cabin to make it easier.? they can get two on a truck load, or if they take my truck and trailer they could get two more. They are backed up for the next 3 weeks with others to haul and stand up. Maybe after deer hunting?
Don’t need them for this season. So anytime after deer season or even next spring. Whatever would be easier for them.

Got to give the kids credit for holding to their word. They delivered when they said they would and did the work they said they would, without asking for compensation for conditions. It cost them some time and effort but I'm sure work ethic like that will profits much more than any welching would have saved them.

The guy is thinking of getting 2 more box blinds from the kids, he asked them how much more to get one of them done in the next 2 weeks and one for next year.
The kids said nothing if you let us rifle hunt out of them for a week.......should have seen the look on the guys face! LOL!

Those are smart kids! A little time and basically free materials and they'll get a new hunting spot. Outstanding!
