Figured it is time to start the discussion for the upcoming season.
I may be retarded but I really miss football. The HOF game is tonight with the boys and cards playing and even though pre-season football is dumb I am exicted about sitting down and eating some venison steaks and having a couple of beers watching.
I predict the Pats finally take a step back this year even if their division is terrible. Brady gets hurt. They limp into the playoffs and exit early. Mark that down.
The changes the Panthers made this offseason scare me. They may be the most improved team this season.
The pack made the offensive even more potent with the T.E. improvements. Running game is a concern with only Montgomery. Defense is the same old shit and will likely be the fault once again for this team from going all the way. Grrrrrrrrrr. Go fuck a goat Ted Thomson.
My GF is a cowboys fan. Going to be some bantering going on for sure with plenty of trash talking.
I heard Teddy is still hurt? Can any Sota guys confirm? What is the thought process on if the Vikes will be any good this year?
Looking forward to enjoying some football again.

Teddy is still hurt (I think). I doubt the Vikes will be contenders, but it all depends on their D, and if this rookie (Cook) is really that good. My guess is the Patriots will be damn good this year again.
I'd watch the Giants and Tampa as sleepers in the NFC

One issue with betting against the Pats as I am is the greatest coach of all time. Love him or hate him

I stopped watching the vikings after Jerry Burns was done as head coach. Could care less about football.

Actually wasn't that bad of a game to watch last night. Some good plays. Both teams played fairly well with their backups considering the first game. Now on to Packers family night Saturday night.

I miss football too. I like college ball more than pro...but I love 'em both.
Teddy's still hurt, but there's "rumblings" that he may be able to play sometime this year. My personal opinion is that his career is over.

Rodgers isnt playing in tonight's Packer game. I guess we get to replace the last few years, doesn't play hardly at all in the preseason and start the regular season rusty and with no timing with receivers.

And they have a tough game to start the season too against the Seahawks.

My personal opinion is that his career is over. Reports said he was close to an amputation. What a fool to even want to come back. I didnt like him as our starter before the injury, and would prefer to never see him taking snaps again as a vike.
