This was at Scotchman's Peak, just outside of Clark Fork, ID. Peak is 7,011 feet, but prominence is 4,561 ft. One way the hiking trail was 5.7 miles with 3,800 ft elevation increase. 3 hrs up and 2 hours down.
Sky is hazy due to local wildfires and fires in BC. We were in the same area a couple weeks ago and the views were much better.

Did not really notice the thinner air directly... mainly because it we were already winded by the time getting up there. Hard to tell what was due to elevation and what was due to weak cardio. The average grade of the trail is about 13% based on an online calculator I found. Crazy how fast a person gets winded with a steep grade vs. flat ground.
