Where did summer go? Only 5 weeks and it will be bow season. Checked over my bow last week and decided to start getting in hunting mode again. Started at 20 and worked on form. Then moved out to 30. Then 40. Then like I normally do back to 20. Felt good to be shooting again but I think I am going to need to do some blind bail shooting as the target panic is creeping back. Prob do that tonight to get my mind in the right spot again to execute the shot.

No kidding it's going fast. I have to go bow hunting for antelope in a few weeks and haven't touched my bow. I was planning on rifle hunting only but my buddies are antsy to hunt.

Been shooting for 3 weeks fellas. Headed to SD for Mulies the second week of October. I have some time but I need to get comfortable shooting long distances (50+). I have really enjoyed it, its been a good distraction in a work filled summer.

My bow is in the shop getting new strings and a peep sight as we speak. I'll probably change over to fixed broadheads as well since I'm doing it.

Since being retired I'm having a hell of a time finding time. Two more sets to hang then shooting begins.

Been shooting for a month. Leaving for New Mexico in 30 days!! Gonna switch to broadheads in a week.
I've been doing just enough cardio to keep me in the game. I gotta get my ass in gear.

You gotta buy a $150 release, set up your bow differently cause your draw length increases, and re-train your brain but... it's the best addition/change to my archery program in many years.

I'm definitely jealous of the out of state hunts some of you have. I'm hoping to get into one next year. This fall we decided to take a fishing trip to Lake Vermillion instead of an antelope trip.

Liked it for practice and target shooting or 3d. Did NOT like it for hunting. Also had a thumb release for awhile. A littel blank bail shooting and I can retrain my brain pretty quick.

I was shooting for a few weeks in July. Idaho doesn't allow mechanical broadheads so I needed a good tuning and new string. Ended up with a new bowtech reign 7 today. Shoots niiice. $1,500 total after accessories and then another $600 on nonresident tags for this year, damn.
