Is that the Eagles nest plot, where you crazy bastards climb like 40 feet in the air?

Mo I have done as you with the corn and beans but with my 2 row planter. so I had 2 rows of corn 2 rows of beans, however my lower deer numbers I had beans that produced pods. I simply walked my rows then with a small broadcast seeder with cereal grains and brassica as well. It looks funny as hell, but it works all the same. I also like doing this as a means to put shooting lanes into corn as well. Bush-hogging good corn just sucks and doing it once it starts to produce grain is considered baiting in my area so that is a no-no. I will say this - it doesn't take but 4 rows or so of decent corn to serve as a decent screen between you and the deer either. As much as I love hunting corn that aspect of it can be a pain in the ass if the deer get out in the corn and you don;t have enough height advantage over then.

Mo,
I love those plots. It's time for an update on your chestnuts. Have any taken off this year?

Mo, I love those plots. It's time for an update on your chestnuts. Have any taken off this year? I have a few that I am hoping will give me some nuts this year. They got shreded by the deer 2 years ago so I had to cage them, this year they recovered and grew a couple feet out of the tubes. So I am hopeful.

I remember that honey hole. That's a damn nice buck pic there. Is that a stand shot thru the trees? What kind of tree is that with what look like pods on it?

$190 bucks for an out of state turkey licence...I like to hunt turkey, but don't think I like it that much. I guess you can take two turkeys but still ...
And it doesn't look like non resident land owners get any sort of break
