This guy has good 7' trees, I think he gets them from Bailey's. Double liver and my boss have all of his pear varieties and they're all healthy after 2 years with no spraying or issues. Not sure on the drop times. He has Centennial, Dolgo, Whitney and Chestnut Crabs, too. You have to pick them up and this time of year who knows what he has in stock. He has to put in his order 2 years in advance so what he has in stock is a crapshoot right now, but you can order for the spring now and probably get what you want. theappletreeguy.com/product-cat/apples/I just got off the phone with the Apple Tree guy. Most of his apples come on M7 rootstock, probably better for Missouri and Southern Minnesota than Northern areas. I did plant 3 M7 this year because they had the varieties I wanted but I would hesitate planting allot on M7 if your in Northern Minnesota or Wisconsin.
He did say their crabapples (Chestnut, Centennial and Whitney) were on Standard rootstock. He also thought his pears were on standard rootstock but he did not know which rootstock it was. I'll try some of the crabs and pears and see what he might have on standard rootstock for apples. He indicated ordering typically starts February 1st.

I might try to graft some extras to sell next spring. They obviously wouldn't be ready for a year or two....would it help out some of you that don't feel like grafting and want the specific varieties on B118 that are hard to find?

There's definitely a market out there for what you are proposing. I've turned down a number of requests as I'm just not interested. Find the niche and fill it. craigslist

SC,
If you're doing that I'd recommend getting a commercial account setup with Rootmaker and ordering some 3 gallon rootmaker pots. Maybe some 5 gallons. They put on unbelievable rootgrowth. I have both roottrapper bags and the rootmaker pots. The pots grow better roots but are more expensive. They require more watering than the bags though.

I don't really want to deal with pots, was thinking I could get away with nursery/bare root

I'd be interested in future bare roots.
