I got one. I thought you tried an apple from it. Maybe I did...I ate so many that day I have no idea what all I tried. Perhaps I can get a stick of Frostbite and a stick of the "berry crab" this winter?

How long has Frostbite been around. We have an apple out at our 40 that was planted by friend of my dad, he would plant apple trees then take some of the apples. I have no idea what he planted, but the one looks like Frostbite description. Smaller apples, color matches, and it is a very good tasting apple (although it doesn't produce much some years).
I can sure get a picture

Frostbite has been around a long time. Before it was named Frostbite, it was MN 447. It has been used to create other UM apples. I have no idea if it was released to the public as MN 447 or not. I think Frostbite became the name and was released sometime in the early to mid 2000s.

My favorite two trees. Never an issue and good growth every year. I am hoping for an apple or two on them next year. Looks like you have the scions covered but keep me in mind if you need some.

I have two trees, they produce well and are doing well at my OTC place. Nice small apples that are firm and juicy.
