5 new bucks on cam over past 36 hours... starting to cruise at night. Another week and it'll start to get interesting! Sweet. Get out there and report back. Im getting depressed with a used tag in my pocket and no time to get out regardless. Living vicariously. Driving through WI at noon today and there was a nice buck and a doe about 30 yards off freeway. Don't see that in MN

No rut to report. No new bucks on cam. In fact no shooters on 3 farms.
However no complaints. 👊

I had a a total of 9 doe and yearlings in front of me tonight. Neighbor was combining his corn today so the deer come for the waste corn. I didn't get winded until the lead doe got nervous and moved the group to the east. No bucks seen.

Had a doe go across the plot tonight @ 6:20. 10 minutes later a buck came through almost stepping in her tracks. Not chasing but sure was on her trail.

Definitely looking forward to next weekend. One last good chance before the orange demolition team is released.

Still seeing bucks hanging out together as of today. But I did see a 8 that has a huge neck and head already he is a stud right now!

Talked to a guy who hunts near Rose City MN... he saw a big 150+ nosing at a doe on Saturday evening.

In SE MN I had a 2.5 year old 8 pointer and 3.5 year old 10 pointer chasing does in front of me last night. The bucks squared up for a bit and the older one even gave the grunt snort wheeze. The does are really hitting my standing bean plot, but the bucks chased them off before they ate too much.
The 8 pointer has been a regular on camera, but I hadn't seen him in person before. The 10 pointer was a new buck, so that was good to see. Lots of scrapes popping up now, so it should get really good soon.

I heard what sounded like a pretty nasty fight between two bucks last night. I didn't ever see them but I could hear their antlers clashing in the woods. At first I thought it was the cracking sound that a tree makes as it is falling over

Last night I was hunting my place by Eyota, but I also hunt around Millville and Elgin.
That Hokah area is a great spot for big bucks. It seems like every year there is a 200"+ buck or two from there.

I'm hearing multiple reports of bucks on the move today in daylight all day so far chasing does. Sounds like younger bucks at this time. I wish I was in a tree.

I am starting to see some dead critters along the roads and large blood splatters where there is no body to confirm but pretty easy to figure its a deer.
