I'm pretty concerned the study will show a small percentage of the deer will travel a long distance and that will be used to widen the CWD kill zone. I'm only about 10 miles from the current CWD zone, so any new positive is bad news for me personally.

The MN dnr with help from the media it wont take long before the entire state is a "cwd zone". Scare tactics will work on the ignorant public and funding will be granted. Such a waste of money repeating other states mistakes. Not to mention a zero percent chance of eliminating the disease here in MN

From my poor memory, but there was an old Mn. study where a yearling buck dispersed 100 miles. I thought it was about 125 miles and he moved west. He did not fit the pattern for the majority of yearling bucks.

That is quite the distance to travel. I'm pretty sure someone posted a link on this site not too long ago about a study out of Wisconsin showing yearling buck movement
