I hate buying clothes.
I've been trying to find my next 10-20 year quality hooded sweatshirt. I have looked at crap up to $70 and it's all made out of shit fabric. Has anyone found anything somewhere that is still built durable enough that it won't shrink away, fall apart, or have shitty elastic after a few trips through the laundry? I'm looking for the one that you look forward to wearing on the ride up to the cabin.
I hate buying clothes.

Underarmor sweatshirts are the best I have found.

I have an old Columbia sweatshirt that is still my favorite. Heavy duty cotton. I've worked in it over some thick polypro long johns the last two winters. That's all I need while working until it's around 0 or when it's windy. No idea if they still make them or not (probably not)
whoops....it's an Eddie Bauer, not Columbia

I bought one of these and am often asked for sex when I fuel up. Most of the men are rather scary looking but every once in awhile....

Where do you guys (Batman especially) find these? I looked at the UA sweatshirts at Scheels but didn't find what I was looking for.

This isn't hooded but it is the best shirt I've ever owned. I have two of them and use them as a hunting layer and they are extremely warm, comfortable and they don't shrink at all.

I like Duluth Trading clothing. I have some heavier flannels that I wear all the time. Very well constructed as are their jeans. I would definitely take a look at their stuff.

Interesting, I did not hear that story. Its crazy how these companies bend to a little pressure especially knowing how social media can kill a company. It's still the best hunting shirt I've ever owned btw.

You guys tried merino wool? Warmer than the thicker sweatshirts. Less cumbersome. Stay warmer if you do get wet. I go to our LL Bean outlet in February each year and buy up their close outs.

I'm a huge fan of anything Duluth Trade Company. I have several of their pants, long sleeve t-shirts, t-shirts and gloves. I haven't purchased any of their coats or sweatshirts, but I wouldn't hesitate to try them out.

I bought a good Car-Hart at Runnings a few years back. Been all I wanted.

Never even thought about them this time. I may stop there on my way home. Everything I’ve gotten from them has been top notch.
