Half inch is what my buddy said. It looked wicked! Picked my son and nephews up at the Waterama street dance, (Johny Holm) …highest humidity I’ve ever felt . He said there were 3-4K people and the all looked like they ran a marathon it was so hot and humid … Dr. Fauci would flip !! HA HA Is this your place in OTC? I hope I got that much, Farmlogs has me at .12".

Woke up to rain in the metro at 3 AM. Actually heard pounding on the windows.....from the rain. Nice. Got an inch here in Mora. How’s the wife? My wife had a big day recovering from her heart surgery. Was a bit touch and go yesterday.....and she crashed at one point.....had as many as 6 nurses holding her down from some bad effects (long story). Today is much, much better. Slow start....then got her breathing tube out and lots of progress quickly from that point on. By the end of today....she was sitting up in a recliner (with lots of stuff attached) sipping some broth and watching the news and a bit of the Oly..mpics with me before she went back to bed. Long hard day for her....but she is over the hump....I think. Likely spend much of the week here at the hospital.....but I expect her to recover and thrive at this point. Only about 1/10 here in the city...but it sure pounded the windows in the middle of the night. I think I got 6/10ths or so at my land. My house had a big windstorm with several lifts blown down and docks blown out etc. We had very minor issues and our neighbors have us all cleaned up. A few doors down they have considerable damage and some stuff blew away. (?). Strange living on the edge of a big lake. I'm pretty well exhausted after the past few days. Gonna sip a cold one (or two) and get some rest....gear up for tommorow. FORE!

You let her watch the news a day after heart surgery? What the hells wrong with you?
Glad she’s doing better today.

Another .54” at the camp so far this morning. The brassicas have all sprouted and are looking great.

All of Koochiching County is getting rain today. Maybe I'll plant this weekend if there's some moisture in the soil and a chance of some rain next week.

I am hoping the prediction of 3/4 inch comes true.

Sounds like that little cell that came through my place was a direct hit. The good news is, it dropped plenty enough rain to germinate all the cereal I spread this weekend. The bad news is I may have gotten a little hail damage. It didn't sound overly bad, but you never know.
