I pretty much don't watch the news and avoid most social media like the plague. What's the mainstream saying about the TX church shooting? I've heard a little on talk radio. It seems they are blaming the Air-force for not putting him in the criminal data base (which allowed him to buy the gun). Not much talk about gun control or the HERO's who engaged him and chased him down. I did listen to an interview with the TX Attorney General who gave a great interview (with an anti-gun nut) and said that there should have been more people carrying at church. I really like how he handled the interview.
In my opinion the guys who shot him and chased him should be headline news across the nation. The victims probably want left alone, and the guy who did it should be a nameless soul with zero recognition for his actions. So, I'm just curious as to what you guys are hearing about it.

I honestly havent been paying much attention to any of these shootings. Not that I am disinterested, but the first several days is just a media frenzy to break something new and it ends up changing anyway.
They all suck bad. I wish in these cases that someone nearby is armed and whacks them early and fills them with lead. I am tired of all these asses being taken into custody and spending the next 30 years of us paying for them and all the court BS as well.

I got the "you shut the hell up" look from the wife the other night talking about this. They seem to be surprised this guy had issues.....the guy shot into a crowd in Texas....TEXAS! One of the most gun friendly states in the union.....what did he think was going to happen? I was sort of surprised 1/2 the congregation wasn't pack'n!
My wife is fine with guns, but I am a little more "right" than she is on the matter. I support CCW and I feel that YOU are your first line of defense. The police can't be everywhere all the time. Sometimes you have to deal with your own shit and you might as well be prepared for it as best you can!
