Holy crap! We have yotes and I have an opinion of the that is different than most, but I've never seen a pack like that. Doesn't look good for the deer.

I️ would say the deer lost.
I️ get pics every year showing coyotes running deer out of my big woods plot. I️ believe they have to have some success or they wouldn’t waste the energy.

That right there is the biggest reason I let my neighbor coyote hunt my property with his dogs every year.

The local coyote dog hunter wont come onto our place because the distance between roads is too far and he said he would lose all his dogs. That REALLY sux. He has quite a pack of hounds. He has a female that is just ferocious and will shred coyotes if she gets them pinned into a corner. Not sure if thats normal for a coyote dog, but he has pics of her with coyotes absolutely shredded by the time they get to her.

I'd be wore out running threw that country after dogs.

The guys here will run multiple dogs and rotate them out until the coyote is tired and eventually caught. Sort of like what that pack did to the buck in the photos.

There's a big group of guys that drive along the roads until they find fresh tracks then cut the dogs loose. Once 1 pack gets tired they release a new one on it. They've got gps collars on there best dogs and drive around to get in front of the coyote then shoot it running.

We have 2.5 x 3 miles between roads at our place. The dog guy said he likes roads around a sq mile and they can surround it.

Too bad you don't have the time to trap mark. That's about the most effective way of getting rid of 4 legged problems.
