The son of a coworker shot this deer. I️ think it has some age on it, but he does not want to get it aged. What do you think?

Long face, grey ears, narly heavy rack. Gotta agree with Tom. Hard to tell without body shot, but looks old to me.

Can you get a peek at his jawbone?
I’d say he is old.

Pretty cool to see those old bucks that have evaded predators for so long. Unfortunately all too rare in MN.

As has been said many times on here.... Cant age a deer by its antlers.
Old or not, I would have LOVEDDDD to have shot it. Or even seen one like it this year.

I have clue how old it is but that is a damn cool rack! Mass all the way to the ends of his points. I would love to shoot a deer like that.

True, but you can age them by length of nose plus this guy is very grey. In my area most deer don't get all the character in their rack until they are at least 4.5-5.5

That's an awesome buck. I agree he could be past his prime with a rack like that. He's definitely not young, if I was guessing I'd say 6.5+.
It kind of has the appearance of an old swamp buck.
