For my tractor would a box blade be the best for leveling new granite gravel to my driveway? Or what do you guys use?

We have a "speed mover" that kicks butt for spreading and leveling gravel on roads. It doesn't work for making a crown though.

land plane is probably what you want for gravel driveway maintenance.
I'm not endorsing this one, just the first video

I have a box blade and have borrowed my BIL's back blade. Box blade works great for moving gravel. I think a back blade works better for spreading it out. Box blade also works great in the plot. For setting a grade, filling holes etc. Each have their best use's. I want to get my own back blade some day. If you having it dumped with the truck best he can I'd go with a box. A box blade will also work best for future maintenance once you drive gets packed down, because of the ripper shanks. Just make sure whatever you get covers your tracks.

I never thought about the plot leveling stuff.

I have a box blade and it's pretty useful for moving fill. I use mine (with lots of cast weight hanging on it) for a ballast box allot. For grading a road and smoothing things out I use my landscape rake. Also use it for cleaning new land and for light tillage. Works pretty darn nice in the tillage department.....which was a real surprise. Dynamite for grading our gravel road and trails.
