Our chapter did not vote in favor of the anti APR resolution. What was the final vote on it? Our chapter was unanimous in all of our votes but one. We had a tie on the crossbow issue and voted again where one member switched. Final vote against crossbow use. We only have six or seven votes at the state meeting as it is based on membership. We have interesting discussions on these issues. We often can see both sides of an issue and must choose what we think is best for the state and not just for our personal feelings. This happens at our chapter level.

What was the final vote on it? Super top secret. Nobody shares the inner workings of MDHA. I know someone must be missing Poppy...

I can't see the guys in zone 3 going back to shooting baskets after what they've had down there. Eliminate the APRs or not, I just don't see them whacking the first fork horn they see all of a sudden, especially if they're sitting on a quarter to half million dollar hunting property. I don't think many guys like us were shooting forkies before APR. Its the guys with no skin in the game who'll stack'em up. Amish, in-laws, friends of friends. Some areas will be largely unaffected others would be devastated.

I read in ODN that 2 deer have been killed in the 603 landowner hunt. 50/50 chance they get the MDHA muzzleloader. Geeze.

Damn good odds. Maybe I’ll go register a road kill and give myself a fighting chance
