There were a total of 10 deer shot within 1/4 mile of our property. 4 bucks. Guess that there is still deer left, cousin saw 10 in one group during muzzle loader season, no bucks in the group.

We had 5 bucks shot on our section. All on or within 100 yards of my quarter section.

A lot of bucks shot close to our land. Most that I remember. I think the cold weather had impact.

On the 660 acres of the peninsula which stretches 2 miles in length, I know of 4 does and my 10 point that were taken. Quite a few deer left. I hope Mother Nature is kind this winter

This past season was the best I'd been a part of. Our numbers are looking really good, but the majority of those deer are fawns and yearlings. That's the shits of exponential growth. We've had 3-4 good winters now, but when you grow off such an incredibly small starting number, it takes that 3rd and 4th year to get the pop up. If things hold true for another year or two, then we might see some basket racks and adult does.

That’s what I’ve got myself convinced of anyway.

Been feeding at the farm, 14 pt, 12 pt, and 6 pt, are regulars. Have 7 does and fawns there also, but when the bucks are there, never a doe or fawn there.
