Anyone know anything about this business? I stumbled across them while searching for grafted persimmon trees (for less than $60 freaking dollars) and it looks like they have a good selection of trees familiar to wildlife guys. Are they reputable? Anyone know about their "Mini-Max" trees? basspecantrees.com/product-category/fruit-trees/

Never heard of them Cat but, they're southern so they may have trees that won't live up north. They've been around since 1906. Maybe worth a try. I've seen other companies use those root Mac containers and heard good things.

Bass Pecan is only a three hour drive from me and I have bunch of trees I’ve purchased from them. They are good folks with good trees.

Forest Keeling Nursery for grafted persimmons. They certainly have a good selection. How do you find prices? I surfed their site for a few minutes but it wasn't obvious.

Bass Pecan is out. I got an email and they don't have the trees that I want in stock. Still trying to figure Forest Keeling out. I finally found prices but no shipping calculator. Tree descriptions are very vague also. Each of the 6 varieties of persimmon have the exact same description.

But if your're looking for different persimmon varieties it would be hard to beat Nolin Nut Farm in KY. I've got several of their trees and more coming this spring. They are bare root but good size trees with massive roots. You might check them out.

I would be willing to wait on Bass Pecan until fall but their shipping was quoted as $13/tree. That would make for a pretty spendy order. I'll give Nolin Nut a look. Geeze, ordering a couple of trees shouldn't be this hard... Thanks.
