I should say most mornings I dont eat a breakfast.... but once again with diabetes, skipping a meal is not good, because your body artifically produces glucose because there isnt food intake.... Its a no win situation. So some days I will have a few cherry tomatoes or something very small. Just to try and fool my body I took in something.
The human body is quite a machine.

Great Sous Vide ribeye steak and shrimp tonight. Salad was great too! (I gotta compromise on steak "doneness" with my wife. We shared a thick ribeye....and she cannot do rare. grin).

So we had some left-over ribeye steak after our meal the other night. My wife makes the best Cob Salad ever! She uses lettuce, red onions, cherry tomatoes, cheese, boiled egg, green olives, bacon, cucumber, French and thousand island dressing.......and sliced up rib eye steak. (I may have missed a few ingredients). I think I may enjoy this big salad more than a ribeye steak itself. A great meal for me.

The older I get, the more salads I eat and enjoy. I think I've eaten more salads in the last 5-7 years than the rest of my years combined.

No ‘cobs’ in it;), but often lettuce mix, tomatoes, green olives, meat, cheese and some dressing.
