I read it too. And I agree for the most part. However, I blame Thomson and not McCarthy. I also feel the injury bug has hit the packers with some bad luck over the years. I suspect a healthy Packers could of completed with ATL and the Pats.

Didn't we lose to them by a point earlier in the year? I'm guessing we had fewer injuries then. The defense was down to what are the equivalent of walk-ons.

I suspect a healthy Packers could of completed with ATL and the Pats. Exactly how I feel Brad. For the last 3 or 4 years Thompson has held the team back. It will continue until he retires or gets fired. The other thing is because of the Packers making the post season, they have been getting late picks in the 1st round.

It's a combination of injuries every year and Ted refusing to go after free agents at positions of need. Rodgers isn't getting any younger. They need to start going after some of these free agents. But I don't see it happening.

Well , if the talk of Ted either retiring or moving in to an advisory roll has any merit, we may see some young blood in charge of that front office in the form of Eliot Wolf. That might be the change we need right now, a young, aggressive, new thought process in charge with Grandmaster Ron behind the scenes.
