Art.....what should I order to line the road across my swamp? ROD? Willow? cuttings? Advice?
I sure wish I could just buy a bucket of brush seed and scatter along the edges of swamps and low-spots on my land. Maybe coming up with a "wetland seed mix" would be a good idea? Sure would be nice to have some kinda "throw and grow" mix.....that would give some kinda result.

Cheapskate that I am, I would go cut a bunch of willows of different varieties and stick them in the ground. Try some ROD also. I could bring you a couple of arm loads of willows. Make a hole with an old crowbar and stick them in.

I would go with willow varities as they do very well in wet areas and once established they will spread.
Any idea what the forb plugs look like? I might give several of them a try and see how they work.
