I bought a product that was recommended by MO. Cannot remember the name now......and I'm in OZ and the product is in MN. But its liquid and takes care of just about all insects including tics. Great around the home and yard. Not cheap.....and you better wear a respirator when you spray.....but it is effective......and worth every penny.
I need to spray more around my shed this year.....and around my gate.....and around my rifle range.....etc. Seems to last a long time too.

Any reason why you couldn't mix up some permethrin and use it.

Where do you guys find it the cheapest? I sell it, buy cases of it when it goes on sale at the wholesale house. The place you list is about the same price as I sell it for. But I sell mostly 3/4 gallons and gallons. Better customer value.

So i could mix this shit in my fimco sprayer and just drive around my yard and kill all the fuckers eh? Then use the spot sprayer around the house.
I don't see a mixing instruction. What is the mixture rate with water? And how far does it go about?

What is the mixture rate with water? And how far does it go about? ^. This is what I have done. IIRC its about 1 oz per gallon of water. I used my fimco.....and both broadcast the spray and used the wand. Seems to me I mixed up about 8 gallons and sprayed allot of territory. Do a read on AMAZON. ALSO.....BUY A RESPIRATOR so you dont breath this shit. After it's dry.....its fine.....but breathing the mist could be bad. I think you could also buy those small (Quart or 1/2 gallon) sizes of permethrin and mix it for your tank sprayer......an drive around and kill those suckers. I'm not sure which would be more effective......Talstar or Permethrin. Maybe MO knows?

I use LambdaStar. It's labeled for ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, and a host of other creepy crawlies... Plus it's safe for animals. Have no idea how it compares to what's already listed in this thread but it works well for me. About the only thing I still have problems with is scorpions (but I think they've been reduced).

So that publication lists a certain cyhalothrin as a "licensed only" application. Are they supposed to sell those products to just anyone without a license, or do they (should they) require a license to sell?
