Yep. I made three benches using those brackets. Very lightweight, portable and affordable. Stows away very nicely. I use my bench with a folding chair.....bit a HIGH bucket would work too (I think). I made one for each of my son-in-laws. I wish I had one of these when I was doing allot of prairie dog shooting.
I also use it for a portable work bench.
I made mine with a "cut-out" for a right handed shooter. I think my overall top size was about 24x 44" - IIRC. I used one 2x4x44" down the middle and attached the legs to this. Highly reccommended. If I find a pic I will post it later.

I drilled two holes with a hole saw.....and used a jig saw to complete a cut-out to hand carry. Rounded all the corners of the bench. Added two coats of good poly when done to protect from rain.

Not that your bench legs won't work Tool'n. But the former legs are angled to the front and back.....and therefore are much more sturdy IMHO. I've likely had 10 different shooting benches......and I prefer the ones I made above over most of 'em for portability and stability. BUT.....it all depends on the level of accuracy and ranges you shoot at. When your shooting at 300 yards and more......stability is a Juuuuge deal.

To each their own. I'm just giving a more economical option.

Tom,
Where did you get the Resin based material you used for your shooting bench? I purchased the legs but would like to find a similar material for my bench.
Thanks!
