I have a ton of that by my house and it seems like it is here to stay. Just don't mess with it with bare hands and you will be fine though. In my opinion it makes better than normal wildlife cover since it is taller than the grasses it seems to displace when it moves in.

Got into it as a kid and played in it all day without knowing. Rather have chicken pox than play with that stuff again!

Just found the first clump of wild parsnip here. I've been pretty vigilant keeping an eye on things because I know from experience how tough it is to get rid of. I cut the bolting heads off and threw them in the garbage (rubber gloves). I'll hit the rosettes with some Crossbow in a week or two.
