Just looking at the MN DNR 2018 Map on deer numbers. Looks like my hunt area is for Hunters choice - 1 deer. But just east of 371 goes to three deer......and further east over near Crosby is two deer. Gonna be allot of venison put up this year. Wack-em and stack-em time? files.dnr.state.mn.us/rlp/regulations/hunting/deer_map.pdf#view=fit&pagemode=bookmarksLooking again - those two and three permit areas east of me are due to CWD potential - or so it would appear.

Feeling lucky that 246 is still HC. Zones to the west as well as east are both intensive harvest

So we just start crawling out of the hole and the DNR is going to start ramming the doe tags down our throats again. Sweet!

I can see the insurance companies advertisement in the MN 2018 hunting laws book. "Shoot a doe, down your premium will go!"
