I have but not too frequently. When I saw it last it produced early but then not again for 2-3 years.

I don’t think a guy wants to see acorn production that early, I believe it takes away from the growth of the tree. But your tree looks excellent, must be some good dirt, congrats!

Yes, I have a number of planted oaks producing acorns at 4-8 years old. Here is a pic of one I checked this week. Note--the tree might be older when I plant it, like you mentioned. Swamp Bur Oak Hybrid, and Swamp White Oak seemed to be the best for me,,, early acorns.
