This is likely the last hill in the fight to clean up the DNR and get back to science based management. I don't know what the outcome will be, but primaries are won by turnout, and turnout will be low. This is also the vote that will determine if deer hunters will ever be taken seriously as a voting block.
You and everyone you can reach with a quick text, facebook post, tweet, in line at the gas station, bar, water cooler etc. Win or lose, don't get stuck with the guilt of having stayed home.

Voting is done here. Our entire township votes absentee. Interesting. If Johnson wins, I hope he has good advisors on outdoor issues.

VOTE for Alfred E NUEMAN. If you are going to have people vote your way, does it matter what anyone else thinks? Thanks for the education, really appreciated. When WE all figure out that politicians will promise the MOON to get your vote. Sound familiar? When we all figure that MONEY talks, what else matters? FOLLOW THE MONEY!

No it doesn't matter, most hunters are not Democrats. Why would they vote Democrat, who try to take their weapons away, and also post locations and addresss of someone who received a lion tag?

Is it possible the MN sportsman has had enough? It's about more than that. Pawlenty thumbed his nose at the base by skipping the endorsing process. He was one of the first to rollover and suggest we hand Hillary the presidency after the whole Billy Bush thing. Trump lost MN 48% to 52%. Closest the red team's gotten in many decades.

If the president comes 2-3 times in the run up to the general, I think it's absolutely possible. When the Trumpster gets to barnstorming the midwest, he'll make shit happen. A senate seat could be won, they could retake the 8th CD like Cravaak did in 2010, Peterson in the 7th used to win by 30 and 40 point margins, and last go around, he won by less than 5. It's worth a stop.
