I'm curious what others do, doesn't matter if they are fixed or expendables. Do you use it once and toss it or do you resharpen and reuse.
I will sharpen and use as back up only or if I'm shooting at something I don't care if its a clean kill.

I re-use all the time. After a kill I'll shoot it into a target a couple of times to see how the flight is, if it's still my best shooting arrow (I always have a favorite arrow that never seems to be the flyer in the group) I sharpen it and put it back in the #1 spot in my quiver. I used to retire every arrow and broadhead after a kill to set on the antlers, but I don't care about that much anymore so might as well use them if they still function right.

I give my broad heads one trip through a deer and then they are officially coyote/coon/practice broad heads.

Buy them on eBay and they never die. They may hide in the tall grass but they never retire.

If I get them back, and I mean if, I clean them and use them for turkey's, coons and yotes only. Never at a deer again.

I don’t even reuse an arrow that’s been through a deer. No on the broadheads as well.

I’ll spin test and also shoot it with practice blades. If all is well, I’ll put fresh new blades and shoot it again.

I don’t have any concerns since I have not killed a deer with the bow in over 20 years. Question is, why do I keep buying a bow license?

My last pack of broad heads is 5 years old and I still have two virgins waiting to go. I worry they get dull from putting them in and out of the quiver for five years.

In fixed blade broadheads - I resharpen and re-use. On mechanical - I replace the blade and re-use. if I have any concern about it being able to do the job.....I'll save it for tree rats!
