I was talking with an old friend.....and he put me onto the Covert Camera's with the wireless plans. Seems the covert brand has cut a deal with Verizon and ATT to allow his app to supply pics for a low price. Does anyone have some experience with this? Sounds like its affordable to view camera pix from anywhere for a low cost. Maybe even OZ! Anyway....looking for some insight on this item. Pretty good info on this website.....and I was surprised by the low cost. ( website is covertscoutingcameas.com) . . FORE

Art was worried about this. Our consensus is remote cameras are over rated and all hype. Forgot what your friend has told you.

I don't know about their wireless but I do own several black flash covert cams. I've had good luck with them.

I bought a Cuddelink last Christmas but didn't buy the home unit. I'm waiting until it can be connected to a PC and download pics to the cloud without a cell plan to buy one. Until then it's just a trailcam that takes decent pics.

Until then it's just a trailcam that takes decent pics. The covert claims you can download your pics to your computer.....and save em to the cloud. Cheap plans too.....pay as you go....as long as you like. Seems equitable and finally low enough cost for wireless. They are the only folks that offer something like this.

Guys if you are looking at wireless cams make sure they are 4G capable. A lot of the manufactuers are deeply discounting the 3G wireless trailcams because they will be switching to 4G.

I looked at their warranty and it indicates 2 years. I wonder how good their customer service is?
The only other unit I have seen is a Spartan which seems to be a good unit.
Price wise your not risking allot.
I like the idea of one of these for putting a cam in my sanctuary.

I’ve got old Coverts that still work great. For some reason I just overlook them. Seems like some guys have issues with Covert?
I’m going to look into this, reasonable price!

I've got Covert MP6 and MP8 cameras that are probably 6-8 years old. They run 24x7 year round. Change the batteries once a year in most. These models were reliable. I haven't bought any in a few years. I thought about buy one of the lte but, those antennas look too inviting for a bear. I still may think about one for security at the camp.

I recently purchased the Spypoint Link EVO with a signal boosting antenna. I don't have it yet, so it's not installed and I don't have a review. When I do, I'll let put it up here.
If it works well, I think I'll end up with four or five of them eventually.
