I started some from cuttings this fall. Skunks pulled up a bunch of them. See what happens this spring.

I have been aware of this patch for awhile never new what it was. It's located between 2 Beaver dams Most of the phragmites we see are invasive, but they make good cover. I have a small patch of what I think are native phragmites. The patch is thin and had not spread in 30 years.

I have them near my Marshes. Buddy shot a rooster out of them this fall.
Can you transplant them?

You can dig up rhizomes and move them. They are pretty deep. And the Australis are illegal,
