I want to order American Plum and Mulberry seed (and maybe some other stuff if they place I order from has an intriguing selection).
Anyone have a company they like?

Thanks Mo. I'll give them a look.
Have you had any luck planting seeds like this without protection? I've never had luck planting oaks or chestnuts without protection (rodents get them), but I figure maybe these will be harder to find or less sought after.

I have had good luck with all their seeds but the selection changes all the time. Here is a link to look through.

Starkbros didn't have anything I was looking for (mostly had vegetables). Ended up ordering from a place called "treeseeds.com". Amur maple, catapla, red mulberry, and white mulberry. They were out of stock for the American and Chicksaw plums I was after. It will be a cheap experiment...

I only ever bought big quantities of other things and broadcast them into downed brush. Probably won't know until this coming year or next if any of it ever took. But they've got... Thanks sd. I'll make an order... That was the place I got a bunch of raspberry, black raspberry, dogwood, currant, and cherry seed. Shitty part for me is, I can't really ID any of it until it gets somewhat mature. I guess I could/should see the raspberries this year if they took.

I'd just collect the fruits and send them to you! Hell, I could dig up some bare root if you wanted. Damn stuff grows on my place like a weed!

What I have are whites or white/red crosses....they are prolific bastards around here. We just got our first real snow so I'll try to keep you in mind and I'll dig some up for you. I actually cut them down because they simply take over here where ever they can get enough sunlight. They really like fence rows and the like around here and will take a beating. I have some I have mowed off with my rotary mower several times and they just keep coming back for more. Seed will obviously have to wait until they fruit, but come spring I'll look into digging some up for ya. To be honest, I bet I could treat them like a rhizome and the damn things would live!
