I feel like there could be a minor in clover for any ag or wildlife degree. I've always had an interest in sweet clover for its ability to produce bug habitat and really good cover in a short period of time. I took a lazy whack at biennial sweet clover a couple years back, but that was a bust. Problem was I broadcast it into a dense stand of grass, and I'm fairly sure the shit never touched the ground due to duff. Now, this stuff comes along, and the quacks say it can hit 4'-8' tall in one growing season. I'm game. I'd like to get my hands on some and blow it into the shit pile spots as well as some of the newly opened spots to see what comes of it. I want to keep working on building a bug army out there. Couldn't find a picture of it on the net. www.kingsagriseeds.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Hubam-Annual-White-Sweetclover-1.pdf

Have you tried birdsfoot trefoil instead?
I can remember lots of deer in the ditches at night after they reworked the road from Blackduck to I. Falls. The ditch Baka were full of birdsfoot.
Birdsfoot persists well for me in farm country. For years, but deer won’t touch it.
They like alfalfa, beans, and corn.

Buy some of each of all these clovers you are looking at and send me a few ounces of each. I'll pay you for them and run test plots in my yard. Then I'll send you pics of giant bucks standing them all summer.

Not so bad compared to Hubam. I pumped the brakes on it for now. I'm getting mission creep again. These are the effects of a long winter. I've still got plenty of seed from last year to get used up somewhere.

Not really sure why, we’ve got the seed and zero women in the bedroom. I’ll have to put a paw in the old man’s dinner to get this done. I just hope I don’t get the splatter shits. He just scrubbed out the litter box on Friday.
