It is downright embarrassing that our state is being hijacked by illegals and non-illegals from shit-hole countries. This Somalian rep has made one mistake after another. Minneapolis is going downhill like all the other big liberal cities in the US.
Damn glad I live in a conservative county, someday I'll be a NR of Minnesota, coming back for the fishing in the spring/summer/fall. Pay lower taxes in Florida or AZ.

Would you guys think me nuts if I said I thought MN would go red in the next election? Not for state races, they'll still f*ck that up, but I bet Trump and Omar will turn MN red, and the gop will pick up three more seats in congress from MN.

I have lived in the metro areas for 35 years and allot of people are very tired of the liberals. I do think Trump misses allot of votes not reaching out to more moderate voters. Trumps aragance and brash doesn't go over very well with many voters.

^ Seemed to me that the last presidential election was a choice between two undireable candidates. It's not that Trump Won......more that lots of folks couldn't not stand the alternative: Hillary. I heard so many people vote Trump due to fearing the Supreme Court being lost to the democrats - forever. Likely the most long-lasting result of the Trump election win.....IMO.
Now....with politics being what they have become......where will we find good people to run for office?? Who wants their family to endure the mud slinging and press and political opposition that will ruin your life and your families lives??

Why would anyone run again when you can have a fake dozier letter lead to an Illegal Fisa warrant to investigate a sitting president just around anyones corner. And then when that didn't work, they use the Illegal FISA Warrant to investigate all your friends and business associates because they can. Going against everything the Constitution stands for. With Fake news stories popping up from the liberal media daily. Wow, makes me want to run! LOL!

My current feeling is that it would be best if Trump does not run again, but a more moderate Republican runs. Trump has simply made too many enemies, but it has been good to not have a career politician in there for a change. In short, I support Trump in many things he does for our country, but not in what he often says or how he says it.
We need to hold either the Senate or regain the House and hopefully the Presidency.
Note that Pence has been mostly waiting quietly.

That is what we were told as Trump picked off one republican after another. His re-election will depend on the economy. The media has beat the Trump horse to death so much that people don’t care what he says anymore, they only care what he does. I don’t think he will run again, who needs the shit he takes. He will have to hand pick who replaces him and campaign for them. That leaves the question of who. Pence is unelectable, I would rather watch paint dry then go out to vote for him. That is exactly why Trump picked him, but he would loose to a wet paper bag in an election. These wing nut liberals are the best thing that could have happened to the country. They will stop the pendulum swinging from Trump to the left. The damaged is if they gain more power. I like to think they will disappear after Trump goes but I never thought a Muslim, ISIS supporter, U.S. hating, piece of shit would be elected to Congress, and we have two of them.

A kind moderate cannot win on the GOP side. Every issue they take a position on, they'll have to qualify with a statement of understanding and empathy for the other side. You're seeing first hand the ruthlessness of the deep state and media in trying to destroy an outsider. Bush was an insider, and they still destroyed him. He was about castrated after 2004 because he wouldn't stand up for himself or his ideas. He even gave away the farm with welfare increases, medicare expansion, and spending. And they still hated him.
The party lines are in vs out, not R vs d. This is the same reason the democrats will help defeat their own candidate if they decide not to run a legit person in 2020. Power does not want to run against an incumbent. Power also doesn't want to wait a fresh 8 years to get back in control.
The intensity of the weaponized ignorant mob has to be met with equal intensity on the right. When you've got the likes of AOC and Omar out there on a daily basis railing against whites, Christians, men, Jews, and the constitution, someone has to stand up and fight them. If someone doesn't, we'll all be sitting ducks for rage mobs as we try to live our lives. The whole country would turn into a college campus.
