My 25 year old needs to figure out easiest way to move 25 yards of this wall and truck it 90 miles to his cob house project. 2.5 feet tall, 2.5 feet wide 2 acre lot in Edina rich dude area who wants it gone. Right up this groups alley. (no solar or wind options please)

Can he rent a bobcat and scoop it in a dump trailer or dump truck or will that cause too much damage to the rocks of house?
That will take a month and 17 cases of beer if he does it by hand one pickup load at a time. I found out the hard way that just because a truck has the off road package does not mean it is meant to haul big loads of rocks.
What is he going to do with the rocks?

The rocks form the base of the house and then are placed sideways on the sides? He loses me sometimes when explaining the process.

Does he put concrete around the rocks and then use corn cobs as fillers or where do the corn cobs come in? Sounds like a lot of work regardless. You should take pictures as he builds this since I've never seen a project like this. Hell, I've never even heard of something like this.

Rent a dump truck. Put the word out for a symbolic unbuild the wall rally. You donate $5 to the local homeless shelter and you get to put one rock in the truck and give Trump the finger at the same time. One hour.

Have fun rebuilding it. Demolition is the easy part.

He knows guys who build houses to code in Omaha with similar process. Spent some summers interning down there. Will see what happens.

If he was in az I'd tell him to hire some Mexicans. His help is even cheaper than Mexican labor. And they have skills. Its a scratch scratch system.

Who's that, he know a bunch of Somali's or something? I figured they were all too lazy for manual labor?

Does he know anybody with a hay wagon? Build up some sides for it and he should get a pretty good load on it.

If he could find somebody with a dump truck that was hauling something up that way that could make some money on a return trip hauling that stone might save your son a little. How many trips is it going to take 2-3? The other thing would be to hire a driver/truck for the whole day and get 2-3 runs in to get it done. Tom might have some ideas.
Also, I don’t think cob houses use any corn cobs. It’s soil, straw, and clay similar to the adobe houses.

A low trailer and a bobcat. Park trailer close to wall. Push from other side with bobcat. Turn trailer around and repeat.
