I have a northstar atv sprayer from Northern tool. I need to replace the shut off valve for the boomless sprayer. As best as i can tell you cannot get a northstar relpacement valve, so i got a fimco valve and some adapters. That should plumb right in. My issue is the old valve also contains the mounting tab that holds the boomless sprayer wand in position on the tank. Anybody have any ideas for somekind of hardware that maybe could be used to accomplish this? I was thinking maybe a hose clamp with a T handle on the tighting screw, but dont think that is a thing. Old on bottom, new one in top:

Pubic service announcement, do not over tightened the broadcast lance on to the fimco valve, threads will break off.

Rule of thumb on any plastic or PVC fitting tighten until you hear crack and then back off 1/4 turn

Setting my valve set back aside, back to the original question. How am i going to Jerry rig this new valve assemble to the tank since the mounting tabs were built into the original valve. What I came up with is I can wrap the valve with this strap, and if i use the right size bolt the shoulder should snap right in like the lance (that is what Northern Tool calls that part of the boomless sprayer) does when it is storage. This solution should only cost a few dollars. (parts pictures stolen from the interweb so they are not in scale to each other )
