Do you have wild rice in the creek? not much if any, we have tried to plant some in the past with out much luck, invasive cattail has taken over

They love poplar trees. If you have any apple or oaks nearby that you want to keep I’d put wire around them.

They must of migrated north. My amish neighbor has been trapping and shooting beavers like crazy on the partridge. They keep on damming up the creek bottom and flooding his crop fields.

I will gladly take them up here I’ve seen them ruin lots of nice woodlands by turning streams into ponds. This! But the edges of those beaver swamps make some great travel corridors. I sure wouldn't them by me on land I owned.

Acutally we can have both ducks and deer as river cuts through 2 steep hills on our land so any flooding wouldn't affect our deer hunting at all

And deer often like to cross below beaver dams.
