Anyone ever pondered leasing out your hunting camp, land and cabin? I wonder what a fully furnished camp would bring for a season, or any kind of desired time period, whether that be a week, month, or the whole hunting season.

Thought about it once when I bought my second property but changed my mind after thinking about the headache it would be dealing with it.

I would have to winterize the water system but I have thought about it. I close it down December-May but that would be the peak rental period for snowmobilers. One of our retirement plans is building a new House as a camp and winter in the south. If I do that I will build it with the snowmobile renter in mind. I could probably get 10k in rent but would need to hire a handy man to be on call if I was wintering else where.

I used to rent out homes back in the day. I saw how renters treated my properties. Would be no different for hunting renters. Fuck That!
