A guy posted that Iowa is probably screwed. They are looking at 17 degrees this week. They are way ahead of us? Hope not.

A guy posted that Iowa is probably screwed. They are looking at 17 degrees this week. They are way ahead of us? Hope not. Keep in mind an average apple crop is 10% of the blossoms end up being apples. And that on each apple bud there’s multiple flowers that bloom over a few days. And that each older tree has a spread of bloom time within its own crop. Now take a look at the bud stages below. It depends on what stage the flower buds are in and the cold and if the tree gets early morning sun to warm up the buds.

I've planted a lot of trees in snow and they usually do better than those planted in pleasant weather. As long as the trees were dormant you will be fine.
